Objectives: To engage in critical thinking; to develop your research and writing skills; to investigate and discuss a topic related to the field of anthropology.

DUE: at the beginning of class on March 20. You must submit a hard copy in class for it to be counted ON TIME.

Format: 1300-1500 words in essay format, with full paragraphs. Note: This word count does NOT include your References Cited page or the title page. There is a 20% PENALTY for going over the 1500 word limit. Include a title page with your name, student number, and your TA’s name on the front. There is no SPECIFIC penalty for being under the word limit, but note that papers that are under the word limit may suffer from poor or undeveloped content. Use 12 point Times New Roman font and double space your essay. The References Cited page should be single spaced.
