Purpose:  To demonstrate a growing understanding of research perspectives and approaches as developed from the selected readings and the class discussions. To demonstrate critical reflection, communication and research skills necessary for participating in the Masters level study.

Task: Making 4 Moodle postings which offer thoughtful and original contributions to class discussions of the seminar’s key concepts and theories. Select one of the essential questions listed in each Module (Modules 1- 4 inclusive) and write responses related to the selected readings and class discussions. Students will compile their 4 critical reflections and copy them onto a word document and upload this full set of postings onto the Moodle Assignment Drop Box by Monday 28 March.

Marking criteria

Demonstrate reflective reading of the required texts.  10%

Demonstrate a growing understandingof research perspectives and approaches as developed from the selected readings and the class discussions. 10%Clarity in writing.

At least 8 references (journal articles, books, book chapters, policy documents) are included, appropriately presented in the APA reference style. In-text citations are also required.
