Aims Completion and all related files Aims Requirements • Kindly go through all the folders uploaded and check the initial project report uploaded. • Total of 4 aims are included in the project, AIM 1 and 2 are almost finished and need to carry out 3 and 4 and also changes can be done if required in aim 1 and 2. • Files related to aim 1 and 2 are HYTRAN software related and are included in a separate folder. • Please feel free to contact us at any time. • This is not of just writing the report but also completion of aims and representing them well in the report. • (Subject related) by accessing the attached hytran files and excel spread sheet you can notice what we are trying to say? i.e the showing that the patterns look same for blockage, leak or whatever compared in the attached files. (any doubts please post in messages area) • No idea of aim 3 and 4 as of now from our side but if you have done it for us we can cross check from the professor. • Please update us for every 2 days as it is very important to check as you are presenting what is required or not? • Please let us know if you make any changes to hytran files provided by us. Aim 1 update folder • As you can see the hytran files a model is set up and transients are developed at the centre. Generally to compare wall thickness change on one side of valve, two sides of valve and no changes. This results are well presented in excel file *project* to clearly understand the difference that the cancellation of waves occur when there is change in wall thickness on either sides of the wall and looks like same as there is wall thickness change in the model. (refer excel sheet PROJECT in aim 1 update folder) • This both files look similar up to certain point of time and changes after that can c this by running model in hytran ( All related hytran files are uploaded in a specific folder) Destination _Aim 1 update. • • In the same way need to explain the other files which are in different folders.( Blockage VS Increase wall thickness and Leak VS Reduce wave speed folder) and this comparisons are presented in excel sheet “two Comparisons”. REPORT REQUIREMENTS • Please refer to attached file for rubric of report writing. • Necessary structure of the report is required according to rubic. • Harvard reference style, • In analysis part, First of all, the establishment of Hytran models should be described well, and list each plots of the models, such as leak, blockage, and wall thickness change. In the next, some comparisons ought to be analysed, for example, leak VS reduce wave speed in pipe 1&2 (please see the details in the same name folder), and blockage VS Increase wall thickness in pipe 1&2. The comparisons analysis should be included the same plots period and different plots period, for example, in the excel file of ‘two comparisons’, the leak and wave speed change figure has the same trend before 2.2 second, please analysis this part and give the reason why these two plots will be look the same. But after 2.2 sec, the plots become big difference, please analysis the reasons, but separately. That means analyse the reasons of the same plots period first, and then analyse the later different period, please do not put them together. This rules also will be the same with blockage VS increase wall thickness. The essential model and figures are all in the folder.
