Executive Summary of the Internship (1 page)A one page summary of the company/institution and a short account of the majoractivities carried out during the internship/job period.3. Table of ContentsContents of the report with page numbers, list of tables, and list of figures.4. Description of the company/institution (Maximum 4 Pages)4.1 This section should answer the following questions:4.2 What is the full title of the company/institution? Give a brief history of the company,full mailing address and relevant web links.4.3 Which ownership type the company/institution has? State the main shareholders andtheir shares.4.4 In which sector the company/institution is operating? Specify the products andservices produced and offered to its customers/clients.4.5 Who are regarded as the customers/clients of your company/institution (consider theend users, retailers, other manufacturers, employees, etc.)?4.6 Provide an organization chart of the company, along with information on the numberof employees.4.7 Provide a list of functions performed by the department you are working in thecompany.4.8 Write your job description. Problem and solution (Maximum 2 pages)Write a problem or a situation in the work place in your department or in the organizationand how do you approach to solve it? How do you think the internship/job activities that you carried out are correlatedwith your classroom knowledge? Be specific with your roles and the problem youhave identified.7. Conclusions of the report (1 Page)In this section you should consider the followings:7.1 A summary of key conclusions derived from the job experience.7.2 The conclusion drawn from the earlier highlighted problem.7.3 The conclusion should be aligned with earlier identified problem.7.4 The conclusion should be logical and scientifically applicable.8. Recommendations (1 Page)What do you advise to the company/organization? Be specific on your recommendationsby supporting them with data (qualitative and/or quantitative) and linking them tostrategy, organizational structure, business processes, human resources, technologyâ¦ asappropriate depending on the mission.
