Learning Journal: Description of Task This assessment task is designed to encourage a deep approach to learning subject content and foster continuous engagement in subject content throughout the study period. Using the template provided, students are required to prepare learning journal entries in which they reflect on topic content, consider the most important topic concepts studied and the nature and importance of these concepts, reflect on those issues they found interesting and/or challenging, and identifying the next steps of their learning process. A separate learning journal entry is required for 3 topics covered in the subject. Students are free to choose from any of the 10 topics covered in the subject. Each learning journal entry should be approximately 250 words in length (750 in total for the 3 journal entries) and appropriately referenced.
