So what do we already know about the barriers and solutions from the research? In the ward you are thinking of basing your SIPS, do you know what the issues are in terms of delays in TTOs? What’s been tried? Why doesn’t it work? To link the assignments well, you need a good question to get your teeth into. By the way, it’s a very good idea to link them and in this case, it’s very doable. So be specific about the problem you’re investigating – what do you already know? Have you talked to the staff? Pharmacy? Then investigate the literature for solutions. You should not have difficulty in finding research around this as its a common dilemma. Hope that helps,
